Description
Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer III who will create quality plans, define test strategies and drive test execution processes. This role involves functional, regression, performance, and accessibility testing.
The ideal candidate will develop and maintain both manual and automation testing strategies, write scripts and automated test cases, and gather actionable quality metrics. They will participate in design and specification reviews and work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Create quality plans and define test strategies.
- Conduct various tests including functional, regression, performance, and accessibility.
- Develop automated and manual testing strategies and test cases using Java, Shell Scripting, or C#.
- Utilize test case documentation and defect tracking tools like Testrail, JIRA, GIT, and SVN.
- Collaborate with development, product, and technical teams.
The candidate must hold a Master's degree or a Bachelor’s with additional experience in a related field, and have at least one year of hands-on testing experience with large-scale software systems.
The base pay range is USD $150,280 - $198,400 annually, with additional components such as sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units, along with full benefits.
