Job Overview: Product Manager - Technical, Amazon Transportation
The Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) organization at Amazon is seeking a Product Manager - Technical to drive strategic, tactical, cross-functional, and technology projects and programs. This role is crucial for an individual with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience.
Key Responsibilities
As a Product Manager - Technical, you will be the end-to-end owner of your product's vision, strategy, and execution. Your responsibilities include:
- Defining the product roadmap and bringing your vision to life by leading a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and program managers.
- Driving day-to-day product development from design through to release, ensuring concise product requirements with clear, measurable success criteria.
- Negotiating effectively, making smart trade-offs without sacrificing quality, and managing appropriate schedules.
- Utilizing data to influence business strategy and technical priorities, escalating issues when necessary while maintaining strong relationships.
- Representing your products and the product team, comfortably communicating with senior executives and various stakeholders.
- Scoping, developing processes, coordinating, and conducting benefits analysis for projects.
- Driving execution and communicating status, risks, and changes to Senior Leaders.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
- Experience managing technical products or online services.
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.

Compensation Information
The base salary range for this position in Toronto, ON, Canada is 128,100.00 - 214,000.00 CAD annually. Amazon's total compensation package may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location. Comprehensive benefits are also provided, including health insurance and retirement plans.
