About the Role: Product Manager, Amazon Now

Amazon Now is actively seeking an experienced Product Manager to spearhead the development and optimization of customer experiences tailored for new users within its quick commerce business. This pivotal role will be crucial in significantly enhancing customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through innovative product solutions that streamline and improve the initial user journey.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Product Strategy

  • Own the entire product strategy for new customer acquisition and onboarding experiences across the Amazon Now platform.
  • Define and execute a comprehensive product roadmap aimed at reducing friction and accelerating the time-to-first-order for new customers.
  • Utilize data analytics and deep customer insights to pinpoint pain points in the new customer journey, developing targeted solutions to boost conversion and engagement.
  • Design and implement personalized experiences that facilitate new customer discovery of relevant products and clearly communicate the unique value proposition of quick commerce.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, operations, and business teams to deliver cohesive and seamless customer experiences.
  • Work with regional teams to ensure that product solutions are effectively adapted to local market demands and customer preferences.
  • Engage with data science teams to construct predictive models and recommendation systems specifically optimized for new customer behavior.
  • Coordinate efforts with customer service teams to integrate feedback and effectively resolve customer pain points, ensuring continuous improvement.

Metrics & Impact

  • Establish and diligently track key performance indicators (KPIs) for new customer acquisition, activation, and early retention.
  • Execute A/B testing and various experimentation methods to refine conversion funnels and maximize customer engagement.
  • Analyze customer cohorts and behavioral patterns to inform strategic product decisions and prioritize development efforts.
  • Drive quantifiable improvements in new customer conversion rates, increase order frequency, and enhance overall customer lifetime value.

Innovation & Market Intelligence

  • Stay abreast of the latest quick commerce trends, analyze the competitive landscape, and anticipate emerging customer needs, particularly within the Indian market.
  • Identify distinct opportunities to differentiate the Amazon Now new customer experience from competitors.
  • Champion customer-centric innovation and consistently advocate for the needs of new customers throughout the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management experience.
  • Proven experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience in product, program, or project management, specifically leading cross-functional teams in the delivery of major new products or services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and VBA.
  • Experience in building and analyzing detailed cost/benefit scenarios and business cases, effectively communicating results across the organization.
