Job Summary: Process Assistant, Operations
Amazon is a highly data-driven company, passionately focused on its customers. In this context, it is vital to ensure customers always receive their orders on time and with quality. The processes at Fulfillment Centers (FCs) are largely manual, involving a large number of associates. One of the most critical roles is that of a Team Leader who acts as a mentor and guide to associates, ensuring customer expectations are met by following standard work practices, keeping safety and quality in mind. In this role, you will be responsible for driving up the sortation and line haul infrastructure in the region, which includes identifying new routes.

This is an opportunity to step up into a Process Assistant role for a period of time.
Key Job Responsibilities: Process Assistant Deliverables
- Daily Management of shift
- Administrative management of associates
- Job allocation to associates
- Monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality, and safety
- Analysis of data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve performance
- Monitor status of problem solve queues
- Responsible for shift quality and associated action plans
- Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates
- Conduct a 4M and 5S audit for the respective work stations on a daily basis
- Implement the formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen
Essential Skills
- Defining the transportation process from FC to FC/RSC
- Ensure enough bandwidth in sortation team to ensure peak time delivery management
- Continuously improve the throughput and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement
- Stand-in for Area Manager
Basic Qualifications
- High School or equivalent diploma
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
- Can lift up to 22.2kg, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
