Principal Technical Product Manager, Fire TV Partner-Branded TVs
Join Amazon's Fire TV organization as a Principal Technical Product Manager, where you'll act as the Chief Product Officer (CPO) for a prestigious global TV brand's entire Fire TV lineup. This is your opportunity to drive product strategy and innovation for a world-class partner whose devices deliver entertainment experiences to millions of customers across the globe.
Key job responsibilities
- Understand the needs and related trends for customers, TV partners, and offline consumer electronics retailers
- Keep abreast with the technologies and trends related to TVs
- Work closely with the TV partner to define a strategy that drives growth, innovation and delights customers
- Define the global roadmap for TVs including TV line-up, specifications, software features working backwards from customers, partners, industry and business needs
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
- Work closely with engineering, program management, and QA teams to implement and deliver the product, on-time and exceeding a high-quality bar
- Drive decisions across cross-functional teams that include engineering, UX and commercial teams.
- Drive product launches in concert with Engineering, Go to Market, operations, PR and other teams
A day in the life
- Work with TV partners on defining the product roadmap, product requirements
- Write BRDs, strategy docs, or PRFAQs
- Work with engineering and other tech teams to build the product and see them through launch
- Work with go-to-market, business development, finance, PR and other internal teams on the launch of TVs

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of consumer electronics experience
