About the Role
Amazon Studios is seeking a detail-oriented Post Production Coordinator to support the US Scripted Series team. In this role, you will support the Post Production Management team working on acclaimed series like Fallout, The Summer I Turned Pretty, Overcompensating, Hazbin Hotel, and many more. Your organizational skills, tech fluency, and team-oriented approach are key to managing complex workflows.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed summary documents tracking post production progress.
- Organize and monitor budgets, bids, schedules, and vendor data.
- Utilize cost-tracking systems for financial oversight.
- Coordinate with production, development, localization, mastering, and technology teams.
- Engage with internal content security and marketing teams for asset protection and launch support.
A Day in the Life
As a Post Production Coordinator, your day involves updating schedule trackers, coordinating with post teams, troubleshooting delivery issues, and attending cross-functional meetings. You will balance multiple priorities, ensuring every detail from file specifications to delivery schedules is communicated clearly.
About the Team
The US Scripted Post Production team manages dailies, editorial, and finishing for Amazon MGM Studios' largest series from Culver City. The team collaborates with various departments, maintains budgets, supervises hiring, oversees delivery schedules, and upholds Prime Originals' high quality standards.
Basic and Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in post production coordination or vendor experience.
- Strong writing skills for clear documentation and cost reporting.
- Proficiency in digital media systems (Flow Capture, PIX, Frame.io, Airtable) and communication tools (Slack, Zoom).
- Experience with various post production environments including editorial and finishing houses.
- Knowledge of media asset types and technical specifications.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional Information
This full-time role is based in Culver City, CA. Compensation is hourly ranging from $26.00 to $47.00, with additional benefits such as sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and more. For applicants in Los Angeles County, additional safety and legal requirements apply.
