Overview

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world. As the PCBA Category Sourcing Manager, you will support Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC by selecting, developing, and managing relationships with critical Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) and Component suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic sourcing plans using industry and data analysis.
  • Negotiate agreements including MOUs, NDAs, STATEMENTS OF WORK and purchase agreements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business, engineering, legal, finance, quality, and supply chain teams.
  • Manage supplier performance, financial modeling, and supplier risk analysis.
  • Drive cost reductions and ensure reliable supply chain solutions.

A Day in the Life

Work with PCBA suppliers to support production for the Kuiper Constellation project. You will lead cross-functional meetings, document discussions, and ensure timely delivery of board manufacturing and supply outcomes, often requiring domestic and international travel.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years in strategic sourcing and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in complex contractual negotiations.
  • Background in Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Telecommunications or high-tech industries.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and without a playbook.
  • MBA with a technical degree or strong technical experience.

Additional Information

Applicants must meet export control requirements: U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee/asylee. Compensation ranges from $71,500/year to $153,000/year based on geographic market, with additional benefits available.
