Operations Manager - Referral for Military Members
This position is NOT remote and is for Military Referrals Nationwide. Join Amazon's WW Operations network and help deliver millions of packages and smiles daily. As an Operations Manager, you will lead and develop a diverse team of salaried and hourly employees, driving improvements in productivity, safety, quality, attendance, and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, mentor, and motivate salaried and hourly workforce
- Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
- Execute productivity plans through forecasting and collaboration
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery commitments
- Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, HR, and other teams to meet objectives
Work Environment
This role requires physical activity including lifting up to 49 pounds, frequent pushing, pulling, bending, and extended periods of standing/walking. The work environment can be loud, variable in temperature, and includes climbing stairs.
Qualifications
Basic: 3+ years of employee and performance management experience or 2+ years with Amazon experience; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Preferred: Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma), managing large teams, and academic background in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain/Logistics.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation varies by geographic location. Colorado base pay ranges from $91,000 to $136,500 per year, and National base pay ranges from $81,900 to $150,100 per year. Additional benefits may include equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive benefit packages.
