Professionals in this team are responsible for our transport, sorting, and shipping network. First and foremost, you want to ‘Satisfy the Customer at All Costs’ (one of our core leadership principles): you work tirelessly with all customers and consumers until you find a solution, achieve a goal, or meet, or even exceed expectations! You will need to develop a deep understanding of our operations, while remaining vigilant for opportunities for continuous improvement. Furthermore, as soon as process changes have been identified for our business, you will play an essential role in implementing solutions and changes. Thus, from day one, you will have an impact on our efficiency and the level of service we offer our customers. As an Operations Manager, you will constantly need to seek to exceed productivity targets, while developing and maintaining the reliability and resilience of your operational shipping team. Day after day, you will ensure that warehouse practices are fully compliant with applicable legislation and policies. To achieve this goal, you must take charge of monitoring, managing responsibilities, auditing, and controlling all practices within your scope of competence. You will need to take on the challenge and participate in initiatives concerning the entire very active Amazon Operations department, and occasionally, as part of cross-functional processes and company improvement projects. Finally, you will manage and be responsible for recruitment plans, scheduling, quality initiatives, performance level initiatives, and process changes that impact your team's sphere of influence.Basic Qualifications
- Engineering, Business School, or University degree - Experience in managing executives with diverse profiles - Experience in data analysis - Ability to communicate in French and English (oral and written)Preferred Qualifications
