About the Operations Manager Role
Our WW Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. As an Operations Manager, you will lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly talent. You are responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance, while driving productivity and efficiency through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving. You will also play a key role in ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities and Job Elements
- Support, mentor, and motivate a mixed workforce.
- Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
- Build and execute productivity and forecast plans.
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises.
- Collaborate with support teams including Safety, Engineering, and HR.
- Perform physical tasks: lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk long hours, and climb stairs.
Work Environment and Qualifications
The role involves variable noise levels, temperature changes, and outdoor conditions at loading/departure zones. Basic qualifications include 3+ years of management experience (or equivalent Amazon experience) and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include experience in process improvement techniques such as Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma, as well as proven analytical and leadership skills.
Growth and Compensation
Amazon offers professional growth opportunities and a competitive compensation package which reflects local market conditions. Base pay ranges from $81,900 to $150,100 per year, with additional incentives such as equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive benefits package.
