Our WW Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. Amazon is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Operations Manager to lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly talent. The role focuses on keeping high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance through effective team engagement and data-driven productivity improvements.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Support, mentor, and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
- Build and execute productivity plans via forecast reviews.
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
- Collaborate with support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 pounds and working extended shifts.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Be prepared to work in varying noise levels, temperatures, and weather conditions, with job duties that include frequent physical activity and stair climbing.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of employee and performance management experience, or equivalent Amazon experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
Additional Information
Amazon values inclusivity and offers accommodations during the application and hiring process. Compensation ranges from $81,900 to $150,100/year, based on geographic market and candidate experience.
