About Manufacturing Test Engineer

Job Overview
The Manufacturing Test Engineer is responsible for the manufacturing test infrastructure for all eero hardware products throughout prototype, production, and reverse logistics. This role involves close collaboration with manufacturing partners, integration with cloud and data teams, and a focus on continuous process improvement to reduce cycle time and expand test coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Own factory test line and develop a comprehensive software ecosystem.
- Define modular test strategies and deliver solutions for new product introduction.
- Develop and execute RF system testing, board calibration, and power testing.
- Automate testing processes using optical inspection, robotics, and more.
- Analyze production test data to drive quality improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams, including international travel.
Qualifications
Basic: BS in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, 3+ years software programming in Linux, Python experience, and proficiency with Linux, git, and UNIX shell tools.
Preferred: Experience with RF products, manufacturing test maintenance, and high volume consumer electronics manufacturing.
