Overview
Amazon is seeking a Lead Content Developer to join our Customer Trust Content Management team. In this role, you will develop process documents, email communications, and high-quality content for both internal and external audiences. Your work will support risk and fraud investigators and provide clear operational messaging for a global audience.
A Day in the Life
You will create and update standard operating procedure documents and customer communications while working closely with global stakeholders. You are expected to manage multiple projects, meet team-level goals, and handle ad-hoc tasks while troubleshooting content-related tool issues.
The Team
The Customer Trust Content Management (CTCM) team supports global operations with data-driven content decisions. With team members spanning the US, UK, Costa Rica, Ireland, and India, success is measured by clarity and simplicity that anticipates the readers' needs.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience managing complex content projects
- Strong project management and editorial skills
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication
- Experience in content strategy and information architecture
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years in managing content projects
- Experience with global teams and multi-language publishing
- Familiarity with HTML, XML, DITA, or CMS platforms
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience with editorial/peer review processes
