About the Role
Join us on our mission to revolutionize the way the world shops. As an IT Support Service Desk Associate with Amazon, you will support core retail technologies in state of the art physical grocery stores. You will perform repair and preventative maintenance of retail and sales floor technology devices, including Point-of-Sale, Department Scale, Handheld computer, and mobile retail solution technologies used in Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and Amazon Go Stores.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot IT equipment used in Amazon retail stores.
- Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Assist vendors in field triage and system updates.
- Handle support requests across networks within SLAs.
- Support training for new hires and continuous learning.
A Day in the Life
You will rely on established guidelines and documented knowledge base articles to diagnose and resolve technology issues via telephone calls, live chat, email, and a web portal. Monitoring incident management systems and dispatching field vendors when necessary will be key components of your role.
