About the Role: Investigation Associate at Amazon
Amazon India is actively seeking dedicated, hardworking, and analytical candidates with a strong track record of performance and results-oriented thinking to join its Transaction Risk Management Team. As an Investigation Associate, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties related to the investigation and elimination of online e-commerce risk. Ideal applicants will possess experience in the e-commerce payments space, previous trust and safety experience, and a proven ability to thrive in a customer-driven workplace. All candidates must be analytical and capable of succeeding in a fast-paced team environment.
This Investigation Associate position relies on excellent judgment to plan and accomplish goals, operating under very limited supervision. You will use excellent individual problem-solving and analytical skills to authenticate customers and complex transactions. Nearly all decisions are expected to be made independently with minimal guidance and a high degree of accuracy.
The Investigation Associate will engage in frequent written and verbal communication with department management, risk analysts, risk engineers, other company associates, and third-parties to achieve objectives. There may also be a requirement to contact customers by phone. Productivity and quality assurance will be evaluated, alongside your overall contribution to the department's development.
Basic Qualifications
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to compose grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling clear and correct communication of complex transactional issues to both internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make complex investigation decisions with little to no guidance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to analyze problems logically.
- Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, effectively prioritizing work to ensure productivity and meet department standards.
- Excellent ability to determine situational needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Education Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
- Work Experience: 0 to 4 years.
- Ability to handle and interpret large sets of data.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
