Job Description

About Amazon Web Services

At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. Amazon is continually evolving and is a place where motivated employees thrive and also where employee ownership and accountability lead to meaningful results.

As an Associate Solutions Architect Intern, you will be part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect team, guiding and helping customers leverage the most advanced cloud services. If you are passionate about leading industry development through technology and thrive in an energetic work environment, we welcome you to join us! You will be a trusted technical advisor, creating long-term value for customers through technology. You will collaborate globally with product, development, technical support, and account management teams to provide optimal solutions using a wide range of cloud services and solve customer challenges with advanced cloud concepts.

This role offers the richest technical directions for you to choose from. You can delve into containers, microservices, DevOps, or become a data analytics expert, exploring various databases and data analysis solutions. You can build a Serverless mobile application using AWS tools or create your own game. You can focus on solution design and application implementation for IoT and edge computing, or even train your own autonomous vehicle.

We foster talent with both deep technical expertise and strong communication skills. We cultivate the ability to define technical solutions based on customer needs and develop the determination to achieve goals in complex scenarios. Here, you can exchange ideas with top global enterprises and grow together with grassroots startups.

Role Overview

You’ll help ensure their short-term technology decisions are aligned with their long-term goals. Speeding up the adoption of our services will be part of your day to day.

You’ll also act as an evangelist in the wider community. This includes taking part in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops. You won’t just want to be part of an industry movement; you’ll want to be leading it. As a Builder, you’ll also have the chance to shape the direction of our products and services. This is through gathering feedback from customers whilst collaborating with our engineering and service teams.
