About the Associate, ML Data Operations Role at Amazon
This team plays a crucial role in enabling automation within Amazon Robotics Fulfillment centers. Serving Amazon Internal Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics teams, this role contributes significantly by providing automation support, which includes real-time and offline (image/video) data auditing services. A primary contribution of this team is to support fulfillment centers in maintaining high inventory accuracy.
As an Associate, ML Data Operations, you will meticulously review video footage of stowing actions at a fulfillment center. Your responsibility involves thoroughly understanding the activity and applying human judgment in conjunction with provided tools and resources to accurately indicate the actions captured in the video. You are expected to verify or precisely mark product locations using a specialized tool, consistently maintaining the highest level of accuracy. This is an operational role, where you will perform precise and thorough video/image audits with high accuracy and speed under general supervision, directly aiding in defect reduction.
Key Job Responsibilities

- Adhere to pre-defined break slots to ensure 6.8 to 7 hours of daily video review time.
- Maintain a dedicated workspace (table, chair, sufficient lighting) and ensure work-related data is exclusively accessed by you if working from home.
A Day in the Life
Associates work in a 24x7 environment with rotational shifts. A standard shift is 9 hours, including pre-scheduled breaks. Shift timings may adjust every 3-4 months or based on business needs. Night shift allowances will be provided as per Amazon’s applicable work policy. Weekly offs are rotational and comprise two consecutive days, not necessarily Saturday and Sunday, or as per business discretion.
