Job Summary
The Associate ML Data Operations role at Amazon Robotics Fulfillment centers is a key operational position focused on ensuring inventory accuracy and stow quality through meticulous video and image auditing. This role supports Amazon Internal Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics teams by enabling automation through precise data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Watch and analyze hundreds of videos per shift to audit stowing actions at fulfillment centers.
- Use human judgment combined with tools to verify and mark product locations with high accuracy.
- Adhere to strict accuracy (quality) and productivity (speed) goals, spending 6.8 to 7 hours daily on video audits.
- Maintain a dedicated and distraction-free workspace if working remotely, ensuring data security.
- Follow pre-defined break schedules within a 9-hour shift, which may include rotational shifts and night shifts with applicable allowances.
- Be prepared to come to the office occasionally, even if primarily working from home.
- Enable laptop camera during virtual meetings.
Candidate Profile
- Willingness to work in a non-tech role for a 6-month contract duration.
- Ability to audit image, video, and text-based jobs.
- Keen eye for detail, capable of identifying information from blurry or less sharp videos.
- High level of attention and focus required for on-screen tasks.
- Adaptability to work towards incremental targets and goals for quality and productivity.
- Capacity for fast implementation and consistent performance.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, and collaborate effectively in remote teams.
- Exceptional team player with readiness to work with distributed teams.
Work Environment
- Operates in a 24x7 environment with rotational shifts, typically 9 hours per shift.
- Weekly offs are rotational and consecutive (5-day work week with 2 days off).
- Shift timings are subject to change as per business requirements.

The Data Auditing Operations team provides essential human support to Amazon Fulfillment facilities. By visually auditing videos and images of products being stored, the team ensures stow quality and enhances the effectiveness of automated processes. Associates' work directly contributes to maintaining inventory accuracy and improving the overall efficiency of fulfillment centers.
