As an Associate, ML Data Operations, you will play a crucial role in enabling automation for Amazon Internal Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics teams by providing real-time and offline (image/video) data auditing services. A key focus of this position is to support fulfillment centers in maintaining high inventory accuracy.
In this operational role, you will meticulously review stowing actions captured in video footage from fulfillment centers. You'll apply strong human judgment, combined with specialized tools and resources, to precisely identify and indicate the activity within each video. This involves verifying or marking product locations with the highest level of accuracy, directly contributing to maintaining the fulfillment center's stow quality and aiding in defect reduction.
Key Responsibilities

- Manage breaks according to pre-defined slots, ensuring 6.8 to 7 hours of active video auditing per day.
- Maintain a dedicated workspace with appropriate lighting, table, and chair, ensuring work-related data is only accessible by the employee (for remote associates).
Candidate Expectations
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Willingness to work in a non-tech role for a contract duration of 6 months.
- Ability to audit various media types, including image, video, and text-based jobs.
- Proficiency in identifying details from blurry or less sharp videos, maintaining a high level of attention and focus.
- Readiness to work towards incremental targets and goals for quality and productivity, demonstrating fast-paced implementation and consistent performance.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, as part of remote teams, and exhibit strong teamwork skills.
- Willingness to come to the office for a few days when required (applicable for associates working from home).
- Readiness to keep the laptop camera on during virtual meetings.
A Day in the Life
Associates operate within a 24x7 environment, working rotational shifts. A typical shift is 9 hours, inclusive of pre-scheduled breaks. Shift timings are subject to change every 3-4 months or as per business requirements. Night shift allowances will be provided according to applicable Amazon policies when working night shifts.
Weekly offs are rotational and consist of two consecutive days, not necessarily Saturday and Sunday, making it a 5-day working week, or as per business discretion.
