Overview

Amazon is seeking an AI Data Annotator to support the Data Team by producing high-quality training data. This role involves annotations, content generation, and data analysis to enhance AGI's Large Language Models' capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and annotate high-quality complex training data across various modalities (text, image, video).
• Write grammatically correct texts in diverse styles per provided guidelines.
• Perform audits and quality checks of data tasks and review work from peers.
• Make informed judgments in ambiguous situations and resolve issues independently.
• Identify tooling bugs and suggest improvements.

Basic Qualifications

• High-School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years working with written language data and annotation.
• Strong proficiency in English (C2 level) and excellent writing and comprehension skills.
• Good research skills and cultural understanding of U.S. norms.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in complex data annotation for LLM training.
• Familiarity with command line, UNIX, markup languages, and scripting (Python).
• Comfort with regular expressions and handling sensitive content.
