About the Role

Amazon is looking for an AI Content Expert II to work with annotations, content generation, and data analysis. You will be part of the Data Team delivering high-quality training data to improve and expand AGI's Large Language Models' capabilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Create and annotate complex, high-quality training data in multiple modalities (text, image, video).
  • Write grammatically correct texts in varied styles adhering to guidelines.
  • Perform audits and quality checks on work completed by others.
  • Make sound judgments with ambiguous or incomplete information.
  • Dive deep into issues and implement independent solutions.
  • Identify and report tooling bugs, suggesting improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with scientists and engineers to refine guidelines and processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years experience working with written language data including annotations.
  • Excellent writing, reading, and comprehension skills (C2 level English).
  • Strong understanding of U.S. culture, society, and norms.
  • Strong research capabilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience creating training data for LLM evaluation.
  • Experience with command line interfaces and UNIX commands.
  • Familiarity with markup languages (HTML, XML, Markdown) and standard text formats (JSON, CSV, RTF).
  • Working knowledge of Python or another scripting language and regular expressions.
  • Comfort with sensitive content annotation and familiarity with Large Language Models.

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $40,400/year to $86,500/year based on geographic market and experience. Additional forms of compensation may be provided as part of the total package.
