AI Content Expert II

Overview

Amazon is seeking an AI Content Expert II to work on annotations, content generation, and data analysis. As part of the Data Team, you will create high-quality training data to improve AGI's Large Language Models (LLMs) capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and annotate complex training data in multiple modalities such as text, image, and video.
• Write grammatically correct texts in various styles while adhering to guidelines.
• Perform audits and quality checks of work done by team members.
• Make informed decisions when encountering ambiguous or incomplete information.
• Identify tooling bugs and suggest improvements.
• Work closely with scientists and engineers to update guidelines and improve processes.

Basic Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience with written language data and annotation.
• Strong proficiency in English and excellent writing, reading, and comprehension skills.
• Understanding of U.S. culture and high-school level STEM.
• Attention to detail and ability to focus on complex tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience creating data for LLM training.
• Familiarity with command line interfaces, UNIX commands, and markup languages (HTML, XML, Markdown).
• Working knowledge of Python or another scripting language and regular expressions.
• Comfort with content that may be sensitive.

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $40,400 to $86,500 per year, based on geographic market and job-related factors. Additional benefits may include equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive benefits.
