AI Content Expert

Amazon is looking for an AI Content Expert II to help with annotations, content generation, and data analysis. As part of the Data Team, you will deliver high-quality training data to improve and expand large language models' capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and annotate high-quality complex training data in multiple modalities (text, image, video).
• Write grammatically correct texts in various styles, strictly following guidelines.
• Perform audits and quality checks on tasks completed by teammates.
• Make sound judgments in ambiguous situations.
• Dive deep into issues and implement solutions independently.
• Identify and report tooling bugs while suggesting improvements.

A Day in the Life

Work closely with scientists and engineers to review guidelines, identify tooling improvements, and discuss data quality. The role involves high judgement decisions and detailed annotation tasks.

About the Team

The team works strictly in the office Monday through Friday during an eight-hour shift. Expectations include regular meetings, trainings, and participation in Amazon events throughout the year.

Basic Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with written language data and annotation.
• Strong proficiency in Dutch and English (C1 level).
• Excellent writing, reading, and comprehension skills.
• Strong understanding of Dutch and U.S. cultures.
• Strong research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt writing style and work in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience with complex data creation for LLM training.
• Familiarity with command line interfaces and UNIX commands.
• Knowledge of markup languages and standard text formats.
• Working knowledge of Python or another scripting language.
• Familiarity with regular expressions and LLMs.
