About the Role: Agency Development Manager, Amazon Ads

Amazon Ads is the digital advertising arm of Amazon and one of our fastest-growing businesses, operating at the intersection of commerce, entertainment, and advertising. We offer unique advertising products, enterprise ad tech, and a rich array of creative, format, and measurement solutions. Advertisers benefit from premium brand placements on Amazon's owned and operated properties, including Prime Video ads, Twitch, Amazon, Live Sports, and Prime Video sponsorships, as well as on third-party publishers via Amazon Publisher Direct.

Our Agency team is seeking an Agency Development Manager, Amazon Ads to join the Amazon Ads Benelux team based in Amsterdam. This role involves owning the Amazon Ads/Agency Holding Company relationship at the most senior level. Agency Development Managers are crucial for accelerating Amazon Ads revenue, increasing Amazon Ads tool adoption, and expanding penetration of the total advertiser universe within each agency.

Candidates must be excellent communicators, strategic thinkers, and capable of earning the trust of partners across Amazon and our agency clients. Success in this role requires data-driven decision-making, goal setting and achievement, and the ability to 'think big' while prioritizing and delivering bar-raising experiences to Amazon Advertising's media agency customers. Agency Development Managers play a critical role in equipping agencies with the knowledge and tools to develop and sell through Amazon-focused ideas to their clients. You will be accountable for advertiser growth through strategic alliances, education, and ideation directly with agencies.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Drive the long-term partnership, vision, and value proposition to grow our agency revenues.
  • Develop commercial structures to create incremental opportunities for growth on branding solutions with a focus on video-centric solutions.
  • Lead education and enablement of key agency functions, including the delivery of training, roadshows, summits, and other agency-wide events.
  • Build and execute business plans with key agency stakeholders which drive adoption of Amazon Advertising’s tools and products.
  • Liaise with global and technology teams to identify transformative opportunities for agency partnerships and product development.
  • Create and execute cross-team project plans, working across multiple resources and orchestrating multiple activities at once to achieve objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of digital media ad sales experience in Netherlands and/or Belgium.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in working at media agencies in Netherlands or Belgium.
