Position Overview

The Sr Account Manager, Startups, AWS Startup role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) focuses on helping innovative startups build and scale on AWS. This position targets the UK Fintech startup ecosystem and involves engaging with founders, CxOs, Board members, and VC influencers to drive revenue growth and market share.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Drive revenue and market share in assigned territory
  • Meet or exceed revenue and goal targets
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions about AWS services
  • Accelerate customer adoption and manage a robust sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with partners to extend reach and drive adoption

A Day in the Life

Your day mixes strategic relationship building, technology exploration, and startup engagement. You will collaborate with founders, C-level executives, and technical teams to transform potential into breakthrough solutions.

About The Team

The team is collaborative and forward-thinking, dedicated to nurturing startup potential, building meaningful connections and supporting transformative journeys.

Basic and Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's preferred
  • Over 10 years IT/Tech/Cloud sales experience with proven revenue achievement
  • Deep knowledge of cloud computing and the UK Startup ecosystem
  • Experience engaging with Founders, CxOs, Board members, and VC influencers
  • AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF CO1) is a plus
