About the Solutions Architect, ISV Role at Amazon Web Services (AWS)

As a Solutions Architect, ISV, you will be at the crossroads of technology and business, engaging with exciting software companies throughout their cloud adoption journey.
You will play a crucial role in helping customers architect systems, design complex software modules, and solve technical problems using the latest cloud computing technologies. This involves understanding application architectures and integration approaches, along with possessing the consultative and leadership skills to launch projects successfully. You will have the opportunity to learn and experience technology hands-on in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to accelerate projects and recommend best-practice architectures aligned with long-term business outcomes.
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and lead deep architectural discussions to ensure successful cloud deployments.
- Own the technical relationship with customers, operating as a trusted advisor whose guidance is shaped by their best interests.
- Share customer feedback to influence the roadmap of new AWS features and services.
- Create and capture best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts).
- Evangelize and educate about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, and conferences.
- Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching, and mentoring others.
- Develop deep expertise in technical domains such as Generative AI and Data Analytics, relevant to your interests and customer outcomes.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, Generative AI, data & analytics).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
- Experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing.
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level, through training, workshops, and publications.
- Fluent in English and Hebrew.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation.
- Knowledge of large-scale automation and workflow management.
- Knowledge of database design and implementation.
- Strong presentation and whiteboarding skills with comfort speaking to executives, IT management, and developers.
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
