Job Description
Senior Technical Writer, AWS Neuron
AWS Trainium is deployed at scale, with millions of chips in production, and has been used for training and inference of frontier models. AWS Neuron is the software stack for Trainium, enabling customers to run deep learning and generative AI workloads with optimal performance and cost efficiency.
AWS Neuron is actively seeking a Senior Technical Writer to lead the documentation strategy and AI-based content contribution and automation initiatives for our AWS Neuron SDK. This SDK facilitates machine learning with our specialized AWS Inferentia and Trainium chips.
You will leverage your passion for technical writing and strategic thinking to design mechanisms and web experiences that integrate AI, empowering both Neuron customers and documentation contributors to create and utilize professional, consistent, and AI-ready technical documentation experiences. Operating at the intersection of machine learning, hardware acceleration, and developer experience, you will spearhead efforts to streamline documentation processes while upholding the high standards AWS customers expect from our documentation site and technical content.
Success in this role requires collaboration with multiple Neuron component engineering teams, Product Managers overseeing Neuron compiler, runtime, and NKI, and Solution Architects who support customers. You will develop profound knowledge of documentation design, organization, information architecture, AI agents, LLMs, and the Neuron SDK to effectively define documentation strategy and make informed content decisions.
