Senior GenAI Engagement Manager, AWS Generative AI Innovation Center
The Gen AI Innovation Center at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a global team of experts dedicated to helping customers achieve their desired business outcomes by leveraging AWS Cloud and our Generative AI Services. We collaborate closely with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to successfully execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides comprehensive assistance through a variety of offerings designed to help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which encompass a wide array of solutions, technologies, and industries.
Key job responsibilities
As an experienced technology program/project manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex Generative AI implementation Projects and Programs.
- Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AI/ML and AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning.
- Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions, and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes.
- Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and mapping them to business outcomes.
- Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions.
- Contributing to technical documentation and defining documentation standards.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in AI/ML and cloud computing.
- Experience in AI/ML project management and delivery of technical programs.
- 5+ years experience leveraging project management and agile methodologies on enterprise-level engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS experience in delivering Gen AI solutions into production.
- AWS Certified AI Practitioner or AWS Certified AI/ML Specialty Exam.
- Masters or MBA or advanced degree.
- Has at least one active project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2) and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
- Strong understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practices.
- Experience applying AWS frameworks like Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework-AI/ML.
