At AWS, we are looking for technical pioneers who are shaping the future of AI. In this role, you will combine your Data Science/ML/AI expertise with a passion for helping the community. You will influence how the next generation of AI applications are built, working alongside creators and innovators in a rapidly evolving space.

Key Job Responsibilities

Drive technical initiatives showcasing the full potential of generative AI on AWS. Create technical demonstrations of autonomous agents using technologies like Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agent2Agent (A2A) communication protocols, and Strands Agents. Build production-ready implementations with foundation models and share deep technical insights through conference talks, live coding sessions, and content creation.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to influence AWS AI services and open-source projects
  • Develop best practices for integrating advanced AI capabilities into scalable applications
  • Engage with prominent industry partners like Anthropic, Meta and OpenAI
  • Contribute to technical content creation and developer community engagement

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of software development experience
  • Proven track record with production applications using generative AI
  • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Java, or Go
  • Active participation in developer communities including technical content creation and public speaking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in large language models and autonomous agent architectures
  • Contributions to open-source AI projects
  • Experience with AWS generative AI services and major cloud providers
  • Influential technical content creation and mentoring experience
