Sr. Construction Scheduler, Global Build Services
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Construction Scheduler to join our Global Program Team. This role is responsible for understanding customer demands, technology, and business opportunities to lead the organization in developing efficient, effective, resilient, and scalable data center construction schedules. You will provide global vision, rationale, and recommendations to leadership for next-generation data center construction schedule planning, activity coordination, and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and refinement of construction schedule standards and guidance.
- Propose and analyze multiple solutions to create optimal data center construction schedules.
- Provide global vision and recommendations for data center construction schedule planning.
- Coordinate construction activities and monitor schedules across new and existing sites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical program management, product management, architecture, engineering (structural, civil, mechanical, electrical), supply chain, construction, operations, safety, security, and legal.
- Participate in external forums to stay abreast of industry trends.
- Lead global construction schedule and strategy in partnership with constructability teams for new data center templates, product innovation, and site remediations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of AWS infrastructure services, ensuring the cloud runs efficiently and reliably.
- Work within a diverse team of engineers, specialists, and managers to deliver high standards of safety and security.
