As a Professional Services Intern, you will immerse yourself in cloud computing, sharpen your business acumen, and gain deep insights into Amazon’s distinctive culture. You will contribute to various projects, have the chance to achieve the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, and participate in enriching professional development events.

The program offers exciting opportunities to specialize in areas of your interest, including:

  • DevOps Specialist: Become a leader in building advanced computing systems. You'll focus on continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and leverage cloud computing strengths to create scalable and economical client systems.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Architect: Develop expertise in cloud-based networking and system rollouts. This specialization focuses on network performance, infrastructure provisioning, and building Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
  • Application Developer: Become a specialist in designing applications natively for the cloud. You'll gain expertise in building programs that run on various platforms, including virtualized instances, containers, or serverless architectures.
  • Data & Analytics: Support services that harness data to generate critical business insights, potentially incorporating Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI). You'll help customers integrate Big Data services, covering technologies like EMR (Hadoop), DynamoDB (NoSQL), MongoDB, and Apache Cassandra.
  • Security Consultant: Focus on enabling security specialists using AWS Services such as Identity Access Management (IAM), GuardDuty, Shield, Key Management Service (KMS), CloudTrail, CloudHSM, and Inspector. At AWS, security is paramount, forming the foundation for effective cloud usage. We seek candidates passionate about security products.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a university with an expected graduation in 2027.
  • Demonstrated interest and aptitude to learn about and deliver cloud-based solutions to customers.
  • Knowledge of one of the programming languages like Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++, or the interest and technical ability to learn one.
  • Completed or been waived the mandatory national military service in Korea (if applicable).
  • Legally authorized to work full-time in Korea (visa sponsorship is not available for this role).
  • Proficiency in both Korean and English is required.
  • Applicants must not have restrictions on traveling abroad.
  • Internship period: June 22, 2026 - September 11, 2026 (subject to change).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a degree program in business or a STEM-related field such as computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies.
  • Knowledge of primary AWS services such as EC2, ELB, RDS, VPC, Route53, and S3.
  • Basic experience in setting up cloud environments with AWS.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, ops automation, and configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, databases (relational and/or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows).
