Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a skilled Professional Services III to join their team in New York. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Big Data, AppDev, or DevOps, applying it to cutting-edge technologies in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. You will be instrumental in building innovative software solutions and collaborating closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to deliver groundbreaking solutions for AWS customers.
This position offers exposure to modern Machine Learning best practices and the opportunity to deliver high-demand AWS solutions. You will utilize your familiarity with cloud solutions and DevOps principles, working within a team of data scientists to build end-to-end solutions. Your primary objective will be to create reliable, scalable, and high-performance ML/AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage Big Data, AppDev, or DevOps experience for ML/AI technologies.
- Build robust software solutions for customer needs.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers on innovative projects.
- Develop and implement reliable, scalable, and high-performance ML/AI solutions.
- Apply modern Machine Learning best practices to AWS solution delivery.
- Support initiatives within Enterprise, IoT, and start-up communities.
- Engage in domestic or international travel up to 50% for role responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Experience must specifically include:
- 3 years with ML algorithms, model training, hyperparameter tuning, distributed training, hosting, deployment, and ML pipelines.
- 3 years of Data Visualization experience using Python/R frameworks (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, ggplot2) or JavaScript frameworks (D3).
- 3 years of experience with Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, SciKitlearn, TensorFlow/PyTorch/MXNet).
- 3 years of Machine Learning experience: supervised learning (regression and classification).
Technical Skills Utilized
- Machine Learning: ML frameworks, ML algorithms (classification, regression, clustering, embedding, NLP, computer vision).
- Software Development: Scripting languages (Python, R), database languages (SQL, PL/SQL, PG-PUSQL), version control (GitHub, Bitbucket, AWS Code Commit), data structures, algorithms.
- Architecture: Data pipelines, distributed computing engines.
Compensation
The salary range for this position in New York, New York is $169,000/year to $228,600/year. Base pay may vary based on knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may also be part of the compensation package, along with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
