Job Description

About the Role

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP), where specialists drive end-to-end go-to-market strategies for their technology domains. The Amazon Connect Go To Market (GTM) team is transforming customer support with AI and human agents, turning fragmented data into proactive, personalized experiences. As a Principal GTM Partner Specialist, Amazon Connect, you will join one of the fastest-growing services in AWS history, leading in the Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) industry.

You will be a seasoned CCaaS professional, responsible for creating and driving differentiated strategies for business growth with third-party partners. This role involves developing and owning the partner strategy specific to Global System Integrators (GSIs), System Integrators, and resellers, operating in a cross-functional team to deliver global results. You will work with partners to develop business models that grow Connect consumption, collaborating with partner marketing, programs, and incentive teams to foster an environment where partners can succeed in driving both direct sales delivery and indirect channel growth.

Success in this role requires deep knowledge of the Amazon Connect suite of features and the ability to translate technical features into compelling business value conversations for line of business and contact center decision makers. Amazon Connect's rapid innovation demands a specialist who can navigate constant change and competing demands while maintaining a strategic focus, ultimately shaping the future of a service category with significant customer impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the Go-To-Market partner strategy for Amazon Connect's Global System Integrator (GSI) partner business.
  • Own strategic initiatives contributing to the global partner go-to-market plan, measuring and reporting on their business impact.
  • Engage strategically with GSIs, SIs, and resellers to negotiate and execute partnership agreements that drive mutual goals towards growing Connect consumption.
  • Establish clear revenue targets, go-to-market commitments, and joint business plans, aligning partner incentives with Amazon Connect's expansion objectives.
  • Work with GTM specialists, sellers, partner teams, and service teams to develop scalable partner sales plays to drive growth targets.
  • Determine and iterate on internal and partner-led routes to market.
  • Collaborate closely with the service team to influence roadmap priorities and facilitate the market introduction of new AI features.
  • Work with product managers and sales to identify, replicate, and scale successful sales campaigns for new and existing services.
  • Engage with sellers, solutions architects, and partners to identify and address blockers to growth for the Connect AI-driven omnichannel solution.
  • Maintain a consistent reporting cadence to the cross-functional team, escalating issues, addressing blockers, communicating changes, and iterating on strategy.
