About the Role: Delivery Consultant - Security

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is actively seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant - Security. In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions, ensuring they meet both technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be instrumental in driving customer success throughout their cloud journey, offering technical expertise and best practices across the entire project lifecycle.

As a Delivery Consultant - Security, you will possess a deep understanding of AWS products and services, proficiently architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer's specific needs. You will engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll guide customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and diligently managing project risks.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in any combination of: application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, mobile security, cloud computing and security, AI security, threat intelligence, and penetration testing.
• 3+ years of cloud computing technologies experience.
• 1+ years in automating security operations, including scripting and automation for scalable/secure environments, automating security assessments/remediation, and implementing security policies as code.
• 1+ years in advanced incident response, leading detection, analysis, and managing eradication processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with designing and building applications using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Kubernetes).
• Experience in automation through DevOps scripting (e.g., shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell).
• Experience with compliance & security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST).
• Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Security Specialty).
• Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions (e.g., WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, SIEM).
