About the Role: Delivery Consultant - Data Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS)
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is actively seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions aligned with their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be instrumental in fostering customer success throughout their cloud adoption journey, providing expert technical guidance and implementing best practices across the project lifecycle. This position involves leading customer-focused project teams as a technical leader and undertaking hands-on development of high-quality Data & Analytics solutions.
As a Delivery Consultant, you will bring a profound understanding of AWS products and services, adeptly architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer's specific needs. You will engage closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate existing infrastructure, and formulate effective migration strategies to AWS. As a trusted advisor, you will guide customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, while also leading the implementation process to ensure best practices, optimize performance, and manage project risks effectively.
The AWS Professional Services organization is a global network of experts dedicated to helping customers achieve their desired business outcomes leveraging the AWS Cloud. We partner with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to drive enterprise cloud computing initiatives, providing assistance through specialized offerings and global specialty practices covering various solutions, technologies, and industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams in designing and implementing end-to-end large-scale, complex, scalable, and secure Data Analytics AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Provide comprehensive technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective Data & Analytics migration and modernization strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and governance while aligning data solutions with business strategies.
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and the creation of reusable artifacts.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
- Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3).
- Experience implementing AWS services in various distributed computing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT implementation experience.
- Degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification.
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR.
- Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies.
- Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience.
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
- Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments.
