Overview
The Data Center Project Assistant is a pivotal administrative role supporting Data Center Project Engineers at Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will handle various administrative tasks, freeing up engineers to focus on strategic goals. Flexibility, quick thinking and adaptability are crucial in this dynamic environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Handle badge requests and vendor onboarding
- Manage project input requests and funding submissions
- Process vendor purchase requests and orders
- Coordinate change management and schedule approvals
- Track material delivery with Power and Cooling Supply team
- Oversee internal equipment transfers and IT equipment procurement
- Update team wiki, playbook and status reports
- Manage travel arrangements and closeout documents
- Assist with miscellaneous project support including new hires
- Standard working hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00AM - 2:00PM EST
