About AWS Data Center Operations Engineer
AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating the global cloud infrastructure. The Data Center Operations Engineer ensures system reliability, resolves hardware and network issues, and maintains data centers with 24x7 shift rotations.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Maintain system reliability by resolving tickets for system and network hardware issues.
- Troubleshoot Linux servers, XEN server virtualization, and related challenges.
- Remediate physical outages and support power & cooling events.
- Install and configure racks and physically replace server/network devices.
- Enforce security best practices and collaborate with third-party vendors.
- Participate in local, regional, and global projects and team meetings.

Basic and Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of IT infrastructure experience and data center facility knowledge.

- Preferred skills include data center operation experience, network certifications, scripting skills, and bilingual proficiency (Korean/English).
