About the Role
The Cloud Security Consultant at Amazon Web Services (AWS) works closely with customers to implement, automate, and manage secure, scalable AWS solutions. You will leverage deep AWS product knowledge to design tailored security strategies, address customer risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of cloud architecture and implementation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years in IT security, compliance, or risk management
- 3+ years in technology automation, implementation, integration or deployment
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS experience with a wide range of services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation
- Professional AWS certifications are an advantage
- Experience with automation and scripting tools (Terraform, Python)
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Past work in industries like financial services, automotive, telecommunications, healthcare and more
- Hands-on experience with security capabilities such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, SIEM
Additional Information
This position is open to applicants in Los Angeles County. Compensation is based on multiple factors including geographic market, with detailed base pay ranges provided for Colorado and other US markets.
