Overview
Are you passionate about helping innovative startups build and scale on AWS? As an Account Executive - UKI, AWS Startups, you will focus on identifying and nurturing promising early-stage to Series C startups across various verticals in the UK & Ireland territory.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and engage early-stage startups before they scale.
- Build and maintain relationships with founders, CTOs, and decision makers.
- Execute consultative sales strategies using AWS's 200+ services.
- Win strategic accounts from competitors.
- Develop and implement territory plans and growth strategies.
- Manage a large territory and achieve revenue targets through customer acquisition.
A Day in the Life
This new business development role involves creating your own pipeline by researching startup opportunities, conducting outreach, and meeting key technical decision makers to position AWS solutions.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Experience in customer sales in cloud/software, a record of exceeding sales goals, and knowledge of cloud computing concepts along with an understanding of the UK startup landscape.
Preferred Qualifications: MBA/MA/MS or relevant experience, technical background in engineering or computer science, and experience with tech startups.
