About the Role
As an Account Executive, AWS Startup Sales UKI, you will drive growth of early stage and mature startups by engaging with Founders, CxOs, Board of Directors, and VC influencers. Teaming with business development, marketing, solution architecture, and partner teams, you will execute coordinated go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Meet or exceed revenue and goal targets in a defined territory
- Develop and execute comprehensive account/territory plans
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
- Accelerate customer adoption and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Collaborate with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
A Day in the Life
You will establish AWS as the primary cloud technology provider promoting a full portfolio of products and services to startup customers. You will be involved with AI, ML, serverless, and IoT trends to help customers innovate like companies such as AirBnB, Slack, DoorDash, and Lyft.
About the Team
The Startup Central Sales team focuses on acquiring new customers and accelerating AWS adoption among existing customers. With a data-driven, learn and be curious culture, the team uses analytics to make real-time decisions and innovate on behalf of customers.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience, minimum 2 years in a customer facing role, sales experience in tech preferred, Bachelor's degree or higher, and demonstrated experience in influencing and managing ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications: Cloud-related sales or business development experience, AWS certifications (or equivalent), and cross functional selling experience.
