The Role: Product Operations Manager
We are looking for a Product Operations Manager to join the Amazon Music Product Operations team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be the bridge between customers and the Amazon Music product teams across key areas. You will ensure product roadmaps meet the most critical needs of our customers and effectively address quality issues. A successful candidate will be analytical and detail-oriented, capable of distilling customer insights from a broad and complex set of data. You are a problem solver that can effectively manage ambiguity, capable of working cross-functionally to deliver results. You are comfortable with technically complex subject matter and are able to communicate effectively on technical subjects.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop deep product and technical subject matter expertise in key areas of the Amazon Music service.
- Monitor customer feedback channels and analyze and synthesize data to provide actionable insights for product teams to inform product planning.
- Use AI and automated tools to optimize efficiency and improve the quality of outputs.
- Work cross-functionally across product, engineering, design, QA, and BI stakeholders to ensure customer issues are routed to the correct teams and track progress towards addressing them along with other key quality metrics.
- Maintain and help groom backlogs of quality-related features and bug fixes.
- Support product teams launching new features and experiments by driving dogfooding and beta testing, aggregating feedback, and reporting results.
- Look for and identify opportunities to streamline and standardize feedback gathering and analysis processes.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of program or project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology.
- Experience in MS Access and SQL.
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents.
