Job Description

Amaris Consulting is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our Brussels team. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between business and IT to drive digital transformation and process optimization in sectors such as banking, insurance, public services, and industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to gather and formalize complex business requirements.
• Translate business needs into structured functional specifications and user stories.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system enhancements.
• Lead workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Ensure traceability and alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
• Support testing phases including test strategy, scenario definition, and UAT coordination.
• Produce comprehensive documentation such as process flows, business rules, and impact analyses.
• Act as a trusted advisor for change management and stakeholder engagement.

Profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Economics or related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in consulting or complex corporate environments.
• Expertise in business process modeling, functional analysis and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN).
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models.
• Strong analytical thinking, facilitation skills, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory; Dutch is an asset.
• On-site availability in Brussels with flexibility based on client/project requirements.
