Job Description for Business Analyst

Amaris Consulting is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Brussels. In this role, you will be the key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, contributing to the successful delivery of digital and transformation projects across various sectors.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications or user stories.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, or system enhancements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Support testing phases, including writing test cases and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).

You will also create comprehensive documentation including process flows, use cases, and business rules, and act as a trusted advisor during the project lifecycle while guiding change management initiatives.

Your Profile

You should hold a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, IT, Economics, or related fields and have 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within consulting or corporate environments. Proficiency in business process modeling (UML, BPMN), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential. Fluency in English and French is mandatory, with Dutch as a strong plus.
