Team Profile
Alvarez & Marsal’s Investment Banking team advises mid to large corporates and private equity investors on M&A and financing mandates, with a focus on high-impact, strategic transactions. The team brings deep domain expertise across key sectors including Consumer & Consumer-Tech, Healthcare, and Manufacturing & Industrials.
We are currently expanding and seeking individuals with a strong foundation in transaction management, financial analysis, and deal execution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working on M&A and capital raise transactions, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Analyst Program Overview
The A&M Corporate Finance Analyst Program is a full-time initiative tailored for exceptional undergraduate students from premier undergraduate institutions both within and outside India. We seek individuals who have demonstrated academic excellence, a keen analytical mindset, and a strong drive to excel in the dynamic field of investment banking.
The details of this comprehensive three-year program are as follows:
- Place of Work: Analysts will be based out of Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore, depending on the firm's requirements and the sector allocation.
- Hands-On Learning: Analysts will develop their skills through real-time deal exposure, financial modelling, market research, preparation of marketing materials and client interactions.
- Research and Industry Knowledge: Analysts will delve deep into industry research, gaining expertise in sectors they are aligned with, and building a strong understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, and business drivers.
- Valuation and Business Planning: Gain proficiency in preparing detailed valuation models, business plans, and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making for transactions.
- Presentation Development: Analysts will work extensively on creating impactful presentations, pitch decks, and other client-facing materials to effectively communicate insights and strategies.
- Client Engagement: Participate in client interactions, contributing to real-time projects and transactions that drive business growth.
