How You Will Contribute

As a Senior Associate, AI Security & Compliance at Alvarez & Marsal, you will address the growing demands for AI-focused security analysis and regulatory compliance. You will help organizations mitigate risks associated with AI system deployment, algorithmic bias, and data privacy by integrating traditional cybersecurity with AI-specific practices.

• Lead technical teams in AI security assessments and model audits.
• Develop AI risk assessment methodologies and continuous monitoring solutions for production ML systems.
• Design secure AI/ML architectures with focus on MLOps security practices.
• Conduct technical assessments using various AI security and MLOps tools.
• Create technical documentation including threat models and compliance roadmaps.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Executing AI security assessments related to AI Act (EU), NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC standards and additional emerging frameworks.
• Implementing security controls for AI frameworks and Large Language Models.
• Integrating AI security with traditional security frameworks including Zero Trust, IAM, and SIEM platforms.
• Developing AI compliance solutions aligned with global regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
• Traveling up to 15% to meet client site needs.

Qualifications

Key requirements include:

• 3+ years in AI/ML development, deployment, or security assessment.
• 2+ years in information security focusing on application or cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Proficiency in Python and familiar with AI/ML libraries and security testing tools.
• Experience with cloud-based AI platforms and MLOps tools.
• Knowledge of AI compliance frameworks and traditional cybersecurity standards.
• Ability to obtain a USG security clearance.

Preferred Certifications

Certifications in AI/ML and security, such as AWS Certified ML, CISSP, or GIAC AI Security Essentials, are advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range is $80,000 to $110,000 annually with potential bonus opportunities. Comprehensive benefits include healthcare, 401(k) with discretionary contributions, paid time off, and more.
