The Team
The PEPI practice serves middle market and large cap private equity firms to improve operating results at portfolio companies. The team focuses on Aerospace, Defense, Aviation & Space Transformation, Manufacturing Operations Improvement, Interim Management, M&A, Supply Chain, and CFO services.
Role Overview
This role, titled Manager, Operations Group Aerospace & Aviation, requires leading complex client engagements and implementing creative business solutions. You will work closely with ADAS leadership in areas including flight operations, airport operations, maintenance repair and overhaul, aviation procurement, resource planning, network planning, revenue management, and other critical operational areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver time-sensitive performance improvement projects.
- Synthesize insights from data and client discussions.
- Develop findings and strategic recommendations.
- Implement operational and strategic improvements with clients.
- Manage teams and structure project workflow effectively.
Professional Skills
Key skills include strong written, oral, and analytical abilities, advanced Excel and PowerPoint, structured project management, data analytics, and critical thinking. An entrepreneurial mindset and flexibility under time pressure are also essential.
Qualifications
7-10+ years of relevant experience in consulting or operations, with a preference for experience in airlines and aviation. Candidates must have flexibility to travel up to 80% and prior exposure to PE relationships is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range is $125,000 - $190,000 annually. Additional discretionary bonus programs are in place, together with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, 401(k) with employer contribution, paid time off, and more.
