About Intern Digital Tax Services Summer 2026

The Team
The Core Tax practice is seeking an Intern to join our Digital Tax Service Team. You will contribute to projects that maximize the impact of clients’ existing and emerging technologies, manage large datasets, drive efficiencies, and help clients navigate digital tax transparency and automation.
How You Will Contribute
- Evaluate processes to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
- Consult with clients and SMEs to implement tax technology solutions.
- Document requirements, support system configuration, testing, and debugging.
- Leverage technologies to streamline tax processes and improve reporting.
- Process large tax datasets to enable efficient analysis and planning.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Analytics, MIS, or a related Master’s degree field. CPA or equivalent certification in progress is a plus. Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Dataverse, or Power Platform is preferred. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, strong communication, and excellent organizational abilities are required. Must be authorized to work in the US without employment-based sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits
The hourly rate is $40 per hour. Note: Interns are not eligible for Alvarez & Marsal’s fringe benefits programs.
