About the Corporate Travel Consultant Role
ALTOUR is seeking a dynamic and professional Corporate Travel Consultant to deliver best-in-class travel consultation. This role requires high energy, extensive travel experience, and the ability to work with top enterprise clients. You will be responsible for quoting and booking accurate domestic and international air, car, and hotel reservations.
Responsibilities
- Service inbound corporate travel requests within a virtual call center environment.
- Deliver extraordinary customer service to all ALTOUR clients, greeting them with enthusiasm.
- Provide consultative service to travelers and travel arrangers throughout the booking process.
- Complete all reservations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow applicable guidelines regarding Federal and State travel requirements, including the Fly America Act.
- Secure the lowest available air/car/hotel rates at the time of booking, utilizing client and ALTOUR negotiated programs.
- Efficiently utilize GDS low fare search capabilities.
- Maintain productivity goals measured by transactions per day.
- Ensure high quality with minimal customer service issues.
- Deliver exceptional customer experience, measured through call monitoring performance.
Qualifications
- Must pass a GDS assessment.
- Typing speed of at least 45 WPM.
- 5 years of travel selling experience.
- 5+ years of customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry.
- Exceptional, proactive, and above-and-beyond customer service approach.
- Excellent travel industry knowledge.
- Mastery in Sabre GDS, including formats, shortcuts, enhancements, and pricing.
- Corporate travel experience required.
- Proven experience in international travel bookings and processes.
- Experienced in handling multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to embrace change, adapt quickly, and act as a leader.

The salary range provided aims to comply with pay transparency laws across various states and geographical areas. The final starting rate of pay is determined by factors such as years of experience, geographical location, and budget. The posted range applies to U.S. candidates; international roles will have salaries based on local market rates. This role may also be eligible for incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on company financial goals and individual performance.
