About the Role
Alteryx is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to lead and execute strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence, automation, and enablement within the Corporate Legal department. In this role, you will own processes, systems, and initiatives to help the Legal team scale, deliver services faster, and align with broader company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Technology & Process Optimization: Manage integration and optimization of core legal technology solutions including CLM, eBilling, and service/matter management. Drive adoption through training, documentation, and change management. Shape the department’s technology roadmap by implementing automation, analytics, and AI solutions.
Analytics & Reporting: Define and develop metrics, reports, and dashboards to measure operational efficiency. Surface actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and resource planning.
Project Management & Strategy: Act as the hub for legal operational projects, ensuring structure, alignment, and accountability. Partner with Legal leadership to define and execute departmental strategy, goals, initiatives, and KPIs.
Qualifications
Required 7+ years of relevant experience including legal operations in an in-house legal department. Must have a base understanding of legal processes such as contracting, compliance, dispute/litigation management along with significant project management and technological aptitude. Ability to lead high-impact initiatives and communicate effectively with technical, legal, and business stakeholders.
Preferred experience includes familiarity with tools such as DocuSign CLM, SimpleLegal, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Asana, SharePoint, Alteryx, and Tableau.
