Job Description
As a Lead Systems Engineer at ALTEN, you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex, high-integrity systems for mission-critical defence platforms. The role involves working across the complete V-lifecycle, from requirements derivation to integration and acceptance, making key contributions to UK defence programmes.
- Deliver full-lifecycle systems engineering using the V-Model.
- Derive and manage requirements from customer specifications and defence standards.
- Produce Integrated Test, Evaluation & Acceptance Plans (ITEAPs).
- Lead subsystem integration across software, electronics, and hardware interfaces.
- Troubleshoot system-level issues within a multi-disciplinary team.
Qualifications & Skills
Required skills include proficiency with IBM DOORS, deriving requirements from MOD or industry standards, experience in generating ITEAPs, and system integration across multi-domain platforms. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or a relevant technical military background is required.
